Steps to Owning a Franchise

Because tax preparation is a seasonal business, the opportunity to enter the industry is limited to certain periods of the year.  As a result, it’s particularly important to understand the steps to getting started in this business.  Here is a short list:

1. Review website materials here.
2. Complete a Franchise Application.
3. PRO-TAX Franchising Staff will arrange for initial phone interview.
4. Qualified applicants will complete a secondary interview with PRO-TAX Operations Staff.
5. Upon approval of application, territory will be confirmed, and legal documents drafted.
6. Sign the documents and become a member of the PRO-TAX Family.
