Course Offering

We have been teaching tax preparation for decades. Each year we make major improvements to the program based on the experience of our instructors and students (and of course changes in the tax code).

Unlike other companies that offer tax schools, we won't waste your time going over tedious "office procedures" that only apply if you decide to work for the company giving the course.  PRO-TAX focuses on teaching you the tax code and applying that knowledge...and nothing else, so you can become a professional tax preparer as quickly as possible.  

The PRO-TAX Risk-Free Tax School consists of 18 classes for nine weeks starting the week of September 12. Each class lasts for 3 hours and covers the following topics:

• The Basic 1040, including W-2s and 1099’s
• Schedule A, Itemized Deductions, including Employee Business Expenses
• Additional Credits, including EIC, Child Tax Credit, Education Credits and Dependent Care Expenses
• Additional Income, including Interest and Dividends, Small Business Income, Capital Gains, IRAs, SS Benefits and other Retirement income
• Injure Spouse Claims and Multiple Support Agreements
• Estimated Taxes
• Resident and Non-Resident Returns
• Debt Cancellation and Abandonment
• Amended Returns
